State police investigate death in Carbon County

JIM THORPE, Pennsylvania – An investigation is underway after a body was found in Carbon County.

According to state police, the body of 33-year-old Felix Dejesus was found in the Lehigh River in Jim Thorpe around 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say Dejesus had previously been reported missing by Jim Thorpe police.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The death remains under investigation and state police believe there is no danger to the public.
