Donna police arrest Waco man wanted for murder

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) – A man with a murder warrant out for his arrest in Bellmead has been arrested, authorities say.

On Saturday morning, Donna police received a call from Weslaco police regarding a possible wanted fugitive, a news release said.

The press release said the fugitive was staying at the Texas Inn in the 2000 block of East Frontage Road.

Donna Police, along with the U.S. Marshall Service, confirmed that 39-year-old Armando Casiano Jr. of Waco had an arrest warrant issued by the Bellmead Police Department for murder.

Casiano was arrested in his hotel room and awaited extradition.
