Driver arrested after crashing into pole in Putnam

PUTNAM, Connecticut (WTNH) – A driver was arrested after crashing into a utility pole in Putnam Thursday night.

According to state police, officers arrived on Fox Road shortly after 10 p.m. No injuries were reported following the accident.

During the investigation, the police discovered that the driver of the vehicle was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

No further information has been released so far.
