Bhopal: A man was arrested for raping a 26-year-old woman in Chhola on Tuesday afternoon. Police said the complainant had stated in her complaint that the accused somehow managed to get her mobile number about a year ago and spoke to her. He proposed to marry her. The woman asked him to talk to her parents about marriage but he avoided it by giving excuses. About three months ago, the accused raped her on the promise of marriage. Recently, the woman came to know that the accused was already married and has children. So she distanced herself from him. But the accused broke into her house on Tuesday when she was alone at home and raped her. tnn
