Man dies in kayak accident in Dauphin County

SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission said a man was killed in a kayaking accident Thursday evening.

According to the PA Fish and Boat Commission, a 44-year-old man has died following an incident on Swatara Creek in Lower Swatara Township.


The Commission reports that the victim was out kayaking in a 10-foot kayak at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 13.

A life jacket was seen on a boat, but the victim was not wearing it at the time of the incident.

This incident is still under investigation.
