The allegations against the Alexander brothers date back to 2010.

In June 2023 The real real estate news The website reported on the sale of a waterfront home in Miami Beach owned by Oren, Alon and their brother Tal. It described an impressive home that included a “main house, staff quarters, a gazebo, a gym, a pool and an outdoor kitchen” and sold for $27.5 million. It’s hard to believe that almost exactly a year later, the same website broke the news that Oren and Alon were accused of raping two women.

The complaints were filed by Rebecca Mandel and Kate Whiteman, citing the Adult Survivors Act, which allows “survivors who were over the age of 18 at the time of the assault to sue their alleged perpetrators between November 24, 2022, and November 24, 2023, regardless of how long ago the crime occurred,” according to another report by The only trueBoth women are represented by the same lawyers in two separate court cases.

Mandel claims she met Oren and Alon in September 2010 at SL, a now-closed nightclub in New York City’s Meatpacking District, after they had previously had several altercations in 2009. According to the lawsuit, she claims Alon “intentionally spiked plaintiff’s drink with an unknown substance, causing substantial physical and mental harm” and then lured Mandel to their apartment by telling her there was going to be a party. When she got there, they allegedly took turns raping her.

Two years later, in 2012, Whiteman was sexually harassed, assaulted and raped in the home of “Ivan Wilzig, a musician who uses the medieval-style property for parties,” according to his lawsuit, wrote The only trueLike Mandel, Whiteman met the brothers several years earlier in 2008 and said she repeatedly turned down Oren, who asked her out on a date several times.

In 2012, Whiteman claimed she received a text message from Oren asking her if she would be in the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend. After she responded “yes,” she later saw the brothers at a nightclub called Dune, where they reportedly led her into a black SUV and forced her to attend a party at Wilzig’s house. Whiteman tried to leave, but was dragged back into the house and then taken to a bedroom, where the Alexander brothers allegedly “assaulted, raped and beat her, according to the indictment,” per The only true.

According to comments on social media, the Alexander brothers’ alleged assaults were an open secret.

Since the complaints were made public, The only true reported that several women had contacted Evan Torgan, the attorney for Mandel and Whiteman. “I have spoken to about 15 people who told me they were raped by the Alexander brothers, one (brother) or more, at various times in New York City, South Beach and also in other states,” Torgan told the outlet.

After the story on the Good business On June 9, 2024, the comments section on Instagram was flooded with people all saying basically the same thing. “This information has been known throughout Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Miami Beach for over a decade,” one person wrote. Another commenter wrote, “This is a known thing in New York City. Everyone has had multiple stories about it. I don’t know how they got away with it for so long.” The answer to that, of course, is money.

The Alexander brothers are represented by Jim Ferraro of the Ferraro Law Firm, who has denied all allegations on their behalf, calling them “extortion.” They have until August 19, 2024 to respond to the lawsuits.
