Man wanted after Wendy’s incident in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted for an alleged aggravated assault.

According to the report, 21-year-old Kamal Kalil Phillips is wanted after an incident at the Wendy’s on Ledo Road.

On Monday, May 6, Phillips allegedly entered Wendy’s and choked an employee, who was also his ex-girlfriend. Ex-girlfriend Nicole Broner, 35, was also charged in the incident.

WALB has learned that Phillips was also employed at Wendy’s.

This case is still the subject of an ongoing investigation.
