Man arrested on suspicion of first-degree arson and attempted first-degree murder – Canon City Daily Record

600 blocks of Rudd Ave., Geoffrey Vickers, 27, was arrested for first-degree arson, attempted first-degree murder, and menacing with a deadly weapon. According to court documents, officers were en route to a home on Rudd Avenue where a verbal altercation had occurred. A family member entered his room to discuss house rules when he allegedly yelled, threw his phone, and hit his television. He then allegedly grabbed a large torch, lit it, held it to the bedding, and threatened to burn the house down. When he was stopped, he turned off the torch and began swinging it like a club at the people in the room.

1500 block of Rosedale Ln, Dakota Miller, 39, from Florence, was arrested for violating a restraining order.

1400 block of Main St., Michael Sizemore, 20, was arrested on the basis of an outstanding arrest warrant.

1400 block of Main St., Lila Webb, 19was arrested on the basis of an outstanding arrest warrant.

700 blocks from South 9th St, Christopher Martin, 24, was arrested on the basis of an outstanding arrest warrant.

South 9th St and Vine St, Andrew Seymour, 34from Denver was served with a summons for arrest for driving under the influence.

2400 block of Central Ave., Anna Tice, 43was arrested for making false statements to the authorities.

North 5th St and Main St, Robert Coulter, 53, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Schedule One or Two Amphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Opium or a Schedule One or Two Derivative, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

300 blocks of North 16th St., Stephanee Schapp, 44, was arrested on the basis of an outstanding arrest warrant.

2500 block of North 5th St, David Gilfillan, 33, was arrested on the basis of an outstanding arrest warrant.
