A terrible news is coming from New York, where the Indian and Pakistani national cricket teams were set to face each other in the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 9. The match received extensive media coverage across the world due to its high profile. Even a Pakistani YouTuber was in the city for the match. According to Pakistani media reports, a YouTuber named Saad Ahmed was shot dead by a security guard who was being interviewed by the YouTuber ahead of the India vs Pakistan match at the Nassau County Stadium.

Video footage from the area suggests that the YouTuber was interacting with the security guard before he was shot. The security guard was reportedly arrested by police in this case.

“He kept holding the microphone close to my face and filming. I lost my composure and shot him,” the security guard was quoted as saying in the Instagram post.

Pakistan lost the match against India by 6 runs on Sunday and is now on the verge of elimination from the 2024 T20 World Cup.
