Nina Dobrev undergoes “successful” surgery after e-bike accident: “Thank you for the prayers”

Actress Nina Dobrev, who was recently injured in an e-bike accident, is currently in the recovery phase. The “Vampire Diaries” star keeps her fans updated on her health on Instagram and expresses her hope to be back on track soon. On June 6, Nina Dobrev announced via her social media channels that she had undergone surgery.

“The surgery was a success. Thank you to everyone who sent me kind messages, thoughts, prayers and good vibes. I felt the support and positive energy. This means more to me than you will ever know,” Nina Dobrev wrote, sharing a photo from her hospital bed.

Before her surgery, Nina Dobrev shared a picture on Instagram and mentioned that she was scared. “I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood, or procedures of any kind,” she wrote. However, details about the surgery or the reason for the surgery were not revealed. Dobrev did not even reveal any more details about the accident.

Several other celebrities, her boyfriend, Olympian Shaun White, and many fans shared their congratulations in the comments section. “We all love you,” Shaun wrote.

Nina Dobrev’s e-bike accident

On May 20, Nina Dobrev posted on Instagram that she had been hospitalized after an accident with her e-bike. She shared a picture of herself on the bike and another showing her on the hospital bed wearing a neck brace and leg brace. “How it all started and how it continues,” she wrote.

Later in another post, Nina gave a glimpse into her current life, which consists of lounging in bed, spending time with her dogs, doctor visits, laughing at her boyfriend’s antics, and other things. “Life’s looking a little different lately, the ‘selfie’ is being replaced by the ‘legs’. Get ready for the leg content because that’s all I currently have in my camera roll,” her Instagram post read.

Nina Dobrev is known for her roles as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in the hit supernatural series The Vampire Diaries and appeared in all eight seasons of the series from 2009 to 2017. She will next be seen in an upcoming horror series titled Woman 99.
