Crestview woman arrested for multiple animal cruelty charges

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) – A Crestview woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with 11 counts of animal cruelty, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said.

OSCO officers arrested Regina R. Alford, 46, around 2:30 p.m. on suspicion of animal cruelty and causing pain and suffering, possibly death, to animals.

Alford is charged with four counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and seven counts of minor cruelty to animals.

The number of animals injured or killed is unknown. Alford was not granted bail. She is currently awaiting a hearing on all 11 charges.
