Ventura Police Conduct DUI Check Friday Night

VENTURA, Calif. – Ventura police conducted a drunk driving stop between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Friday and arrested two people.

A total of 203 cars and 459 drivers passed the checkpoint and two were arrested for drunk driving.

The locations of the checkpoints are based on accident history and drunk driving arrests and serve primarily to promote public safety.
