Woman suffers skull fracture in attack outside bar

A woman suffered a fractured skull when she was attacked outside a pub in a Nottinghamshire town.

Officers were called to High Street in Hucknall at around 8pm BST on Sunday.

According to police, the woman fell backwards after being hit and hit her head on the sidewalk. She was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening skull fracture and a slight brain hemorrhage.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of intentional grievous bodily harm.

Officials said she was taken into custody for questioning and has since been released on bail pending investigations.
