The Consulate General of Israel in the Southwest presented “Art in War,” a collaborative exhibition with downtown’s Esperson Building and Carrie Leigh Contemporary. Artworks were on display from May 22 to 29.

The exhibition revealed untold stories of tragedy and resilience through a poignant reflection on the shocking events of October 7 in Israel’s southern settlements.

“Art in War” showcased the works of talented Israeli artists, providing a unique opportunity to explore the deep connection between art and conflict, providing fascinating insight into the themes of resilience, memory and hope.

Artists included Merav Shinn Ben-Alon, Zeev Engelmayer, Tommy Clements, Klone, Oren Fischer, Keren Shpilsher, Aviel Basil, Marian Boo, Shahar Avnet, Noa Kelner, Zoya Cherkassy-Nnadi, Yaara Eshet, Dana Barlev, Or Yogev, Reut Asimini. and Adi Gershon.
