Police are searching for a man accused of forcing a 12-year-old girl behind a building on Central Avenue and sexually assaulting her.

Prince Albert police said the attack occurred shortly after 9 p.m. last night and that the mobile crisis unit called them for assistance.

The girl was walking in the area of ​​Central Avenue and 15th Street when she was approached by a man, pushed behind a building on the south side of 15th Street and attacked.

The man used a sharp weapon to prevent her from escaping.
