Delaware gun store robbed with pickup truck – NBC10 Philadelphia

A person called police after seeing a pickup truck crash into the front door of a Delaware gun store early on Memorial Day in what investigators called a robbery.

The theft at Millers Gun Center on West Jackson Avenue in New Castle was reported around 1:50 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2024, New Castle County police said.

“While officers were en route, a passerby called 911 and reported seeing a flatbed truck crash into the front door of the store,” police wrote in a news release. “Officers arrived at the store to find the store had been broken into, several firearms had been stolen, and the truck was no longer in the area.”

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, together with the county criminal investigation department, supported the search for clues.

Police did not disclose how many firearms were stolen, nor did they release surveillance video of the robbery.
