Casting agent arrested for rape after promising work in Kapil Sharma’s show – India TV Hindi

The case of rape of a woman on the pretext of getting her a job in comedian Kapil Sharma’s show has rocked the entertainment industry. This incident took place on May 21 in Nalasopara, near Mumbai. There, accused casting agent Anand Singh called the woman to his house for an audition on the pretext of getting her a job in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and then raped her. Accused casting agent arrested

After committing the crime, the accused Anand Singh also threatened to kill the victim if she tells anyone about it. Despite this, the victim, without fearing anyone, filed a complaint against the accused at Tulinj police station in Nalasopara following which the accused was arrested. On the complaint of the victim, the police have framed charges under sections 376, 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC against the accused, casting agent Anand Singh and arrested the accused Anand Singh.

The victim in this case revealed

The victim told police that the accused Anand deceived her by claiming that he knew big personalities in the television industry. He also lied when he claimed that he would work in Kapil Sharma’s show. The victim said she believed that Anand would get her a job in Kapil Sharma’s show. Police said the accused was introduced to the victim through an acquaintance.

Casting agent raped her

The woman had gone to Anand’s house in Nalasopara for an audition. There he raped her. The victim said that during the audition, Anand tried to get close to her. When she resisted, he raped her. She was also beaten up. Not only that, Anand Singh also threatened to kill her if she told anything to the police.
