The Conshohocken Police Department provides an update on the investigation into a pedestrian and vehicle accident

The Conshohocken Police Department reports that its officers were called to an accident at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Fayette Street on Monday, May 20 at 2:52 p.m. The accident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

According to police, initial investigations revealed that the pedestrian was using the zebra crossing and the vehicle was not driving too fast.

The Narberth ambulance took the 80-year-old pedestrian to Lankenau Hospital with a head injury and a broken arm. The woman’s broken arm underwent surgery and her condition is stable.

The driver remained on site and was cooperative. The final decision of the investigation is still pending.
