THURSDAY POSSIBLY HARD:

The First alarm weather day extends into Thursday as further isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow. With that comes another threat of a few strong storms. The overall threat will be low, but any severe weather that develops across the midstate could bring renewed gusty winds and heavy rain. The highs tomorrow will remain between 27 and 30 degrees.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY:

Further scattered rain showers are expected on Friday, along with a few rumbles of thunder. Even though there could be severe storms in some places, it looks like we will be spared from the threat of severe weather. Highs on Friday will remain in the mid 80s. The unsettled weather will continue into the holiday weekend. Scattered showers and storms will occur across the region on Saturday. You’ll want to have a backup plan to bring the fun indoors every now and then, but we’re not talking about an all-day constant rain here. The high will be in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY AND MEMORIAL DAY:

A First alert weather day applies on Sunday. A number of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, with wind, hail, localized flooding and isolated tornadoes possible. The danger is highest in the afternoon and early evening.

There will be some rain and thunderstorms until Monday. Some of these can be violent. The maximum temperature will be around 30 degrees.

NEXT WEEK:

Scattered showers are possible on Tuesday, otherwise partly cloudy. The high will be cooler in the upper 70s
