Another series of storms in Houston; what will follow?

Thursday evening storm recap:

A line of powerful thunderstorms moved through the Houston area Thursday evening.

Parts of Houston picked up more than 2 inches while northern cities received 3 to 5 inches.

The storms brought high, damaging winds that caused significant power outages and damaged homes and buildings downtown.

Friday forecast:

We have one last round of storms rolling out today. The greatest risk for strong thunderstorms is in Houston and south of I-10. More severe weather is possible, with damaging winds and hail, but the threat is low.

Showers and thunderstorms develop late this morning and will be with us until late evening.

From tomorrow we are heading towards a much sandier weather pattern. It will be warm with temperatures reaching the 90s. Humidity increases on Sunday.
