Cyclist killed in accident on Route 18

A 25-year-old man died in a fatal car crash in East Brunswick on Thursday, police said.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 18 and South Woodland Avenue. According to police, Rohit Sharma was riding an electric bike when he was seriously injured and pronounced dead.

According to authorities, the driver of the car was not injured and remained at the scene of the accident.

The East Brunswick Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is conducting an accident investigation.
