Man arrested after allegedly locking people in a room for four days; San Pablo police find 62 weapons

(KRON) — A man was arrested Thursday after locking his girlfriend and their two children in a room for four days, San Pablo police said. Police seized 62 guns from the suspect, whose identity has not been publicly released.

The victims included the girlfriend and her two children – an adult and a teenager. The suspect threatened to shoot them while they were locked up.

They eventually managed to escape, which led to the arrest of the suspect. He was taken into custody for domestic violence, kidnapping, false imprisonment and criminal threats.

Police later recovered the 62 weapons allegedly used to threaten the victims. A video showing the weapons is embedded at the top of the story.

SPPD seized 10 more weapons from another suspect on Sunday after he used a crossbow to smash the windows of his neighbor’s car, police said. He was arrested after barricading himself in his home.
