Three men injured in knife attack in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (PIX11) — Three men were stabbed to death in New Rochelle Sunday morning, according to New Rochelle police.

The incident occurred around 4:18 a.m. in the 200 block of North Avenue, police said.


Officers who responded to the scene found a large group of disorderly persons and located the three men, but said the suspect had already fled the scene. One victim was stabbed in the leg, the second in the back and the third suffered stab wounds to the back and abdomen.

All victims were taken to local hospitals. Two underwent surgery and are in critical but stable condition, according to police.

The victim who was stabbed in the leg was released from the hospital.
