Jake Paul claims that after the Trump incident, “someone is trying to murder him”

Jake Paul got into a brawl with fellow fighter Mike Perry during their weigh-in clash on Friday. The former fighter went on a tirade against UFC President Dana White and other mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters, further claiming that the UFC president was trying to link him with helping MMA fighters.

Paul’s temper hit the roof when he shoved Perry during their duel. Afterward, he appeared at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, for an interview with Ariel Helwani.

Paul is a big supporter of Donald Trump, who recently survived an assassination attempt. The boxer similarly claimed that Dana and other boxers “tried to kill him” and “didn’t want him in the sport.” He also donated to Trump for the upcoming election and invited him to his fight against Mike Tyson a few months ago.

Paul acknowledged his murder and his mission from God when he said, “They tried to murder me. They don’t want me in this sport. They hate that I’m in this sport, but when you try to murder a guy like me, it just makes me bigger. I’m on a mission from God, a mission from God, a servant of God, to save this sport. And that’s what I’m going to keep doing. Keep winning, keep fighting.”

Paul has fought four fighters so far and defeated them all, including Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Ben Askren.

Perry replies that Paul is “going under”

Perry had also competed in the UFC before entering the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in 2021.

There were exchanges of words before a full-blown argument broke out. Jake asked Perry, “Why are you nervous? I can see it in your eyes,” to which Perry replied, “I’m excited.”

“You can have it all,” Perry said. “I want the ring tomorrow. That’s all I want,” and Paul replied, “You’re going to eat the ring tomorrow. Face first.”

During the fight at the weigh-in, Perry also pushed Paul back and it took several security guards to separate the two. He said, “They work hard to protect him (Paul), brother. But tomorrow night in the ring, when it’s just him and me, no protection. He’s going down.”

Referring to Friday’s weigh-in incident, he said the guards had to work hard to bring him back. He pushed through them and moved all the weight of the guards. It was a thousand pounds of pressure, which is called “platinum pressure,” and it will carry him into the fight against Paul.
