Curtis Groff is the name of the 16-year-old who died in a hit-and-run accident in Lancaster County last week. Groff was struck in the 200 block of Sun Hill Road in Penn Township on May 2 around 9:30 p.m. Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said Groff was working on the side of the road. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident has been identified, according to police. No charges have been filed so far. Groff’s obituary says he was an 11th grade homeschool student and worked for a lawn care service. He was also an active member of White Oak Church.
