Teenagers arrested after attack on man in city centre

A man in his 60s is being treated for serious injuries after being attacked in central Londonderry.

It happened on Thursday at around 7.20pm (BST) in the Guildhall Square area.

Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

They have now been released on bail pending further investigations.

The victim is being treated at Altnagelvin Hospital, but details of his condition have not been released.
