Allen Road reopened after accident involving two vehicles and one injured

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) – The northbound lanes of Allen Road near Walton Road were reopened Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash initially blocked the road and injured one person.

According to Peoria police spokeswoman Semone Roth, the accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The roads were temporarily closed and have been reopened since 5 p.m. on Thursday.
