Victims of traffic accident in White Hall flown out by plane

White Hall Road was the scene of a car crash on Saturday, June 29, which left the adult driver with serious injuries. The vehicle, traveling northbound, left the road and struck several trees. The driver was found unconscious and trapped inside the vehicle. Colleton County Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel treated the patient at the scene. A CARE Flight rescue helicopter flew to the field behind Fire Station 25 on White Hall Road to pick up the patient. The driver was transported to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
