BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two juveniles have been charged with third-degree burglary in connection with an investigation on Niagara Falls Boulevard, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

A neighbor in the 2400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard called 911 to report the sound of breaking glass and screaming shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. Authorities said officers responded to the closed business and arrested two juveniles.

A search of the business confirmed that it had recently been burglarized.

The juveniles were taken to the sheriff’s office for further questioning and were charged with the following:

  • one count each of third-degree burglary
  • one count each of second-degree criminal mischief
  • one count for each petty theft

They were released to their guardians and given a summons to return to court at a later date.
