Another great horned owl found dead in Lincoln Park – Chicago Tribune

Hello, Chicago.

The Arlington Heights School District 25 school board voted to fire the nurse at the center of a case the district has described as prescription drug abuse. The CEO called the situation a “breach of trust” that was “disturbing and worrying.” ”

The board voted 6-0 at a special meeting Wednesday night to fire nurse Tory Eitz, who had been a nurse at Westgate Elementary School for five years. Westgate is one of nine schools in District 25 and serves nearly 600 students in grades K-5.
