Lakota Library Keeps Kids Learning During Summer

The Lakota Public Library welcomed about 20 children for its summer reading program activities, which took place in June at the Lakota Community Center.

The first program featured reptiles from the RAD Zoo, also known as the Reptile & Amphibian Discovery Zoo, on June 11. Children saw lizards, snakes, turtles and a small alligator, and were able to touch the animals at the end of the program. Children also learned fun facts about the animals.
