Woman attacked with baseball bat in broad daylight in Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY — A violent attack occurred outside 37 Monroe Street on Tuesday, where a 58-year-old woman was attacked with a baseball bat by two unknown assailants. The incident occurred around 2:08 p.m.

The victim was reportedly walking down Monroe Street when the attackers approached her and struck her multiple times, focusing on her legs and head. After the attack, the suspects fled eastbound on Madison Street.
