Former Colts player named as person of interest in investigation into missing son

Former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Daniel Muir is a person of interest in the investigation into his son’s disappearance.

According to Fox59, Muir was reported missing by Indiana State Police after his 14-year-old son, Bryson, was reported missing by his grandmother. Police also say Bryson may have been the victim of abuse at the hands of his parents.

On Friday, June 28, a Silver Alert was issued by Indiana State Police “after his parents backed out of an agreement to bring the teen to police,” according to Fox59.

According to police, there was an agreement that Daniel and Kristin Muir would bring their son to a meeting with ISP at the Peru Post Office at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. However, the parents reportedly canceled the meeting.

According to police, Bryson was last seen on June 16 leaving his grandmother’s house, which is just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Bryson was reportedly last seen with his mother in a white 2015 Chevrolet Suburban.

Daniel Muir played parts of seven seasons in the NFL from 2007 to 2013. From 2008 to 2011, he was on the active roster with the Colts for parts of four seasons.
