Cooking alert issued for the village of Continental

CONTINENTAL, OH (WLIO) – A boiling water warning is in effect in the village of Continental following a water main burst in the south of the village.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says the Village of Continental Water Department is issuing a precautionary alert and advising residents to boil water used for drinking or cooking. The boil alert will remain in effect until test results meet EPA standards, likely about 48 hours.
