Car accidents in Michigan

Flint, MI – Collision at corner of Mildred St and E Genesee St leaves one injuredFlint, MI – Collision at corner of Mildred St and E Genesee St leaves one injuredCar accidents are a leading cause of accidental injuries and deaths in Michigan each year. Each year, tens of thousands of people suffer painful injuries and emotional trauma as a result of these incidents. The harsh reality is that many victims are left with significant financial burdens, often amounting to tens of thousands of dollars. Dealing with the aftermath of a car accident can present enormous challenges, especially when you consider that numerous accidents are the result of the negligence and recklessness of drivers.

The main factors contributing to vehicle collisions include:

  • Tailgating: Driving too close to other vehicles is extremely dangerous because it limits the ability to stop in time and avoid an accident. Unfortunately, many accidents are due to this aggressive behavior of drivers.
  • Distractions: Failure to concentrate on the road can lead to catastrophic accidents. Many accidents occur because drivers are distracted by activities such as using their cell phone, adjusting the radio, or eating while driving.
  • Speeding: Driving too fast for road conditions increases the risk of losing control and colliding with nearby vehicles. Exceeding the speed limit can increase the force of the impact and cause serious injury.
