Clearfield man charged with sexually abusing 4-year-old girl | WTAJ

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) – A Clearfield man has been accused of sexually abusing a four-year-old girl.

Jerry Alan Lefort Jr., 38, was charged and arraigned on Wednesday, June 19, after the Clearfield Regional Police Department (CRPD) was dispatched to a residence on East Cherry Street shortly after midnight to investigate the sexual assault.

According to a press release from the CRPD, a search warrant was issued and Lefort was found hiding in a closet.

While few details are currently available, court records show he is charged with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a person under 16, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, seduction of a minor and simple assault.

He was booked into the Clearfield County Jail and bail was set at $250,000.
