23-year-old man found dead in Henrico parking lot with signs of trauma

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The man who found dead with clear signs of trauma in a Henrico County parking lot on Sunday evening was identified by police.

The man was identified as 23-year-old Lamontae Aubrey Scott of the Sandston area of ​​Henrico County.

On Sunday, June 16, at 7:24 p.m., officers with the Henrico County Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 4600 block of Grand Ledge Court.

When officers arrived, they found Scott in the parking lot with significant injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
