Teenager killed in shooting in North Nashville, Tennessee, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities say a teenager died Sunday afternoon following reports of a shooting in North Nashville.

Metro Nashville Operations Center reported that a shooting involving a juvenile was reported in the 2500 block of 25th Avenue North shortly before 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 16.

Metro Nashville Police told News 2 that a 17-year-old girl was shot in the incident.

Police also said a suspect is in custody, but there is no information about that person’s identity or possible charges against him.
