Boil Water Advisory Canceled for Atlanta, Texas | Community

ATLANTA, TEXAS – On June 13, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requested that the City of Atlanta Public Water System, PWS ID #0340001, issue a boil water advisory to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions recently occurring in the public drinking water system, water from this public water system needed to be boiled before being used for drinking water or human consumption.

The public water network has taken the necessary corrective measures to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water network and used for drinking water or human consumption and has provided TCEQ with the results of the laboratory analyzes which indicate that water no longer requires boiling before use from June 15.
