Sexual abuse case in Cambridge, Massachusetts, under investigation – NBC Boston

Police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, are investigating a sexual assault after the victim said she woke up in a Central Square parking lot and had no memory of how she got there.

Investigators said they received the report around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday. The victim told officers she spoke to three people in the 200 block of Franklin Street and could not remember what happened next.

The victim said she woke up in a parking lot in Central Square to find she had been attacked. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police say the victim is a homeless woman, but out of respect for her privacy they did not provide any further details.
