1 person killed in two-vehicle crash in Isabella Co. – 9&10 News

ISABELLA COUNTY – The Isabella County Sheriff’s Office said one person was killed in an accident that occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Officers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash near Winn and Coe roads in Fremont Township. Officers said they found two injured people from one vehicle and one dead person from the other vehicle.

Sheriff’s officials found the driver of a 1999 Chevy Blazer traveling westbound on Coe Road and failed to yield at a stop sign while approaching Winn Road, officials said. The Blazer struck a 2022 Lincoln Navigator traveling northbound on Winn Road, officials said. The Navigator was pushed off the roadway and landed in a field, officials said.

The driver and passenger of the Navigator suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local emergency room for treatment. The driver of the Blazer was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

The case is still open and is being investigated, MPs said.
