Shooting in Enfield damages home, police say

ENFIELD, N.C. (WNCN) – Police are investigating a shooting that damaged a home in an Enfield neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., officers were called to the Sherrod Heights area regarding shots fired. Officials said they located the residence and determined that bullets had entered the occupied home.

Police said no injuries were reported, but the house was damaged.
