1 dead, 1 flown to hospital by helicopter after accident in Sutter County

A head-on collision in Sutter County left one person dead and another injured Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP said a male driver died and a female driver was flown by helicopter to a Sacramento hospital. The crash occurred on Highway 113 near Leiser Road in Robbins. The male driver was traveling northbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle and crashed into the female driver’s vehicle, which was traveling southbound, the CHP said. ROBBINS, California —

According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed and another injured in a head-on collision in Sutter County on Sunday evening.

CHP said a male driver died and a female driver was flown by helicopter to a Sacramento hospital. The crash occurred on Highway 113 near Leiser Road in Robbins.

The male driver was traveling northbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle and collided with the female driver’s vehicle, which was traveling southbound, CHP said.
