The sheriff’s office said the regional Electronics and Computer Investigations Division launched an investigation into Netanel after receiving a report of a person sharing images containing child pornography through the messaging app Kik.

As a result of the investigation, officers issued a search warrant for Netanel’s apartment, which led to his arrest.

Netanel is a second-grade teacher at Rockwern Academy in Kenwood. He was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center on Thursday.
