Authorities search Connecticut man’s apartment and allegedly find crack

A Vernon man was arrested last week after state, local and federal authorities searched his home in connection with a drug investigation.

Ernest Davis was arrested Thursday on two counts of endangering a minor and one count each of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana/cannabis with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory, according to Lieutenant Richard Monge of the East Central Narcotics Task Force.

Monge said task force members worked with Vernon police and the DEA’s Diversion Task Force on a drug investigation involving Davis.

The investigation led authorities to obtain a search warrant for Davis’ Parkwest Drive residence. According to Monge, an unknown amount of crack cocaine was allegedly found during the search.

Davis was held on a total bail of $305,000 following his arrest.
