Wyandanch man shot in Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel parking lot

A 38-year-old Wyandanch man was seriously injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel in Islandia Friday night, police said.

Suffolk police said the victim was in the parking lot around 10 p.m. when a suspect approached him and shot him twice. The shooter then fled the scene.

The victim entered the casino and 911 was called. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
