Teenager arrested after argument that led to shooting in Henderson Park

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A teenager faces multiple charges after allegedly firing multiple shots in a Henderson park, police say.

On May 21 at approximately 10:45 p.m., Henderson Police responded to a report that a large group of teenagers were loitering in Mission Hills Park and that several gunshots were heard.


According to police, a gun was fired during an argument between several people. No injuries were reported, but damage was caused to a nearby home and a vehicle.

Officers later took 19-year-old Robert Berry into custody and booked him into the Henderson Detention Center. He is charged with two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and five counts of discharging a weapon from a position where a person was in danger, police said.
