Eau Claire man charged with sexually abusing two children | Crimes and Courts

EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) – An Eau Claire man was charged Tuesday with sexually abusing two children.

Jonathan Rowan, 27, is accused of sexually abusing a girl for about two years, beginning in 2020 when she was nine years old and continuing for nearly 10 years.

According to the indictment, she said Rowan sent her sexual text messages and bribed her to engage in sexual acts with him by offering her toys and money. She also said he showed her porn videos and then asked her to do what was shown in the video.

The lawsuit says the other girl said she was 8 when Rowan held her down and sexually assaulted her. She described several other assaults or attempted assaults over the past year.
