Eureka police identify man killed in horrific I Street crash last week | Lost Coast Outpost

Eureka Police are still investigating the horrific multi-vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian on I Street last week. They are looking for additional witnesses. If you saw the crash and haven’t spoken to them yet, please call them.

Today the identity of the person who died in the crash was announced.

The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as David Sprague of Eureka.

The investigation is ongoing and the EPD is asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) at 707-441-4300.
