Avoid these high water areas as severe storms move through the Houston area.

HOUSTON – A few areas of high water are reported on some Houston area roads due to strong storms moving into Southeast Texas Tuesday afternoon.

KPRC 2 FLOOD MONITORING: Be alerted if flooding occurs in your immediate area

KPRC 2 urges residents to “turn around, don’t drown” if they encounter some of these roads, but we also advise drivers before going out.

Here is a list of flood locations by Houston TransStar:

  • IH-10 eastbound westbound at Waco St.

  • IH-45 northbound southbound at N Main St.

  • IH-610 East Loop northbound at Clinton Dr.

Mark Herman of Harris County Precinct 4 posted the high water routes:

  • FM 1960 and Champion Forest

  • FM 1960 and Greenwood Forest

  • Cour de Lyon and chemin Louetta

  • Bammel N Houston and Champions Forest

  • Clear Valley and the Forest of Champions
